மதுரை: நீர்வரத்து குறைந்ததால் வைகை அணையில் இருந்து திறக்கப்படும் உபரிநீரின் அளவு குறைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இன்று காலை வைகை அணை 71 அடியை எட்டியதை அடுத்து வினாடிக்கு 3,106 கன அடி உபரி நீர் திறக்கப்பட்டது. வைகை அணைக்கு நீர்வரத்து 2,531 கனஅடியாக குறைந்ததால் அணையில் இருந்து உபரிநீர் திறப்பு 2,531 கனஅடியாக குறைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

In terms of total readership, which was 11.05 Lakhs as of May 2017, it is the second largest.
