திருவனந்தபுரம்: கேரளாவில் தென்மேற்கு பருவமழை தீவிரமடைந்துள்ள நிலையில் முல்லைப்பெரியாறு அணை நீர்மட்டம் 119 அடியாக உயர்ந்துள்ளது. அணைக்கு நீர்வரத்து விநாடிக்கு 2,754 கன அடியில் இருந்து 2,348 கன அடியாக குறைந்துள்ளது. கடந்த 4 நாட்களுக்கு முன் 114.85 அடியாக இருந்த அணையின் நீர்மட்டம் தற்போது 119 அடியாக உயர்ந்துள்ளது. முல்லைப்பெரியாறு அணையில் இருந்து கம்பம் பள்ளத்தாக்கு பாசனத்திற்காக 350 கன அடி நீர் திறக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
